Can Nexio work with clients outside Kenya?
Yes. We deliver for clients across East Africa, West Africa, Southern Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Delivery is remote-first with a named account lead, a shared project board, scheduled video calls and written decisions, so distance never becomes an information gap.
How do you handle time zone differences?
Nairobi is UTC+3. That gives full working-day overlap with Europe, the Middle East and most of Africa, substantial overlap with India, and a morning overlap with the US East Coast. Our process is async-first, so progress never waits for a live call.
What currency will we be invoiced in?
KES, USD, GBP or EUR, whichever suits your accounting. Payment is milestone-based against agreed deliverables, usually 40% to start, 40% at build completion and 20% at launch.
Who owns the work when the project ends?
You do. On final payment you own the code, the design files, the domain and every hosting or third-party account we set up on your behalf. We hand over documentation and admin training as part of launch.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, as standard on request, before discovery begins. We also work under your own contract templates where your procurement process requires it.
