2. Services
Nexio provides web design and development, brand identity, managed hosting, AI automation, SEO and digital marketing services. The exact deliverables, timelines and pricing of each engagement are defined in a signed proposal or statement of work (SOW).
3. Quotations & pricing
All quoted prices are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise and are valid for 30 days from issue. Prices may be revised after this period or where the agreed scope changes.
4. Payment terms
Standard terms are 50% deposit before work begins and 50% balance prior to launch or final delivery. Hosting and recurring services are billed annually or monthly in advance. Late payments may attract a 5% monthly surcharge.
5. Revisions & change requests
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or out-of-scope changes are billed at our standard hourly rate (KES 4,500/hr) and confirmed in writing before being actioned.
6. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing brand assets, copy, product information and timely feedback. Project timelines assume reasonable client responsiveness; significant delays in client input may extend delivery dates.
7. Intellectual property
On full payment, the client owns the final deliverables (designs, code written specifically for the project, brand assets). Nexio retains the right to display non-confidential work in its portfolio. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain under their respective licences.
8. Hosting & uptime
We target a 99.9% uptime SLA on managed hosting plans. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated in advance. Refunds for confirmed outages exceeding the SLA are issued pro-rata on request.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all non-public information shared during the engagement confidential. Mutual NDAs are available on request before sharing sensitive project details.
10. Liability
Nexio's total liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the preceding 6 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days written notice. Fees for work completed up to termination remain payable; deposits are non-refundable once project work has commenced.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, failing which they will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
